The Photographer

Hannah McChesney has been an active photographer since her college days, where she was a photographer at both the university newspaper and the yearbook from 1989-1992.  She has also been published in the University of Rochester alumni magazine

In Moscow, Russia she shot pictures of the putsch in 1993 and the changing life for the average Russian. While in New York City, she went to Cooper Union in 1999 for B&W photography.  Her night-time photos were featured in a student’s exhibit at Cooper Union. In the city she also shot headshots for models and wedding photography.

While in the field of international education, her pictures were published in brochures (including scenes of Russia, the

Czech Republic, and Jordan).

Most recently, she has taken pictures of agents and awards ceremonies, and has been published in the Portland Press Herald real estate section.  Her concentration now is taking virtual tours of houses in the Portland area and photography in real estate.  She has also shot pictures of local bands, and is published on the website www.kinoproby.com and www.bansheewerks.com .

Her specialities include B&W night photography, sports photography, nature photography, panoramas and virtual tours for real estate.  She recently had her first solo showing at the Time Bank Gallery in Portland, ME.
